This is a brush applied, one component cement based waterproofing coating for use over portland cement, concrete and masonry surfaces. When properly applied, it becomes an integral part of a wall.
Normally applied to the surface facing the water source, it is an ideal protection for:

All surfaces must be structurally sound, clean, and free of all possible contaminants. Allow new cement and masonry surfaces to fully cure (approximately 28 days) prior to application. Surface cracks, holes, etc. should be repaired. Smooth or painted surfaces must be cleaned in an abrasive manner so as to open pores and allow for a good bond.
Surfaces should be evenly wetted with clean water to control suction. Apply with either a 6" masonry brush or a 10" Bristle Push Broom. Super Blockade should be applied in a heavy coat using long, even, horizontal strokes so that all surface pores and voids are filled. Make sure that it is evenly distributed so as to avoid excessive buildups. Brush strokes must be in one direction only.
At 1/16th inch thickness, approximately 2 lbs of Super Blockade will be needed for each square yard.
50 lb. pails or sacks.
1 year in dry storage.
Clean all tools and equipment with water and detergent immediately after use. Clean all spills orsplatters before Super Blockade has a chance to dry.
Do not apply over frozen or frost-filled surfaces. Do not use when ambient temperatures will fall below 40°F within 48 hours after application. Do not apply on traffic bearing surfaces. Allow Super Blockade to cure for at least 7 days prior to filling with spas, pools, or tanks with water.
Super Blockade is alkaline on contact with water and may be irritating to eyes and skin. Wear appropriate dust, skin, and eye protection when using.
