PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Q.C. Construction Products Integral Colors are colored admixtures for concrete. They contain no fillers and are made of the highest quality pigments as well as other ingredients designed to enhance the color and improve the pigment dispersion, workability, and finishing performance of the concrete.

They are available in 25 standard colors for a Wide variety of quality colored flatwork as well as vertical and many other types of architectural concrete.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Q.C. Construction Products Integral Colors are packaged in cubic yard units for five and six sack cement ratios. One bag of Integral Colors contains the proper ingredients for one cubic yard of concrete. Custom packaging is available upon request. Make certain that you specify the proper cement content when placing your order.

Add one bag to each cubic yard of concrete and mix at charging speed for 5 - 10 minutes. Consistency of color of the cement and aggregate as well as the content of the concrete mix design ( is. Cement, aggregate, fines, water etc. ) is critical to achieve uniformity of color from batch to batch. A 4 to 5" slump is recommended. Required higher slumps should be achieved by using water reducing or plasticizing admixtures and NOT by adding water because this will adversely effect the uniformity of color.

Uneven curing and/or rapid drying of the concrete will also adversely effect the uniformity of color. Use of a clear cure and seal over the freshly finished concrete surface is recommended.

LIMITATIONS:

Inconsistencies in job-site conditions, finishing practices, concrete mix-design and slump, and curing methods may produce variations in the color of the finished product. Integrally colored concrete is limited to lighter more pastel colors and is not as brilliant as color hardener concrete surfaces.
