Base plate grout, span repair, construction joint repair, non skid coatings, and crack filler.
Mixing ratio 2:1 mix for a minimum of three minutes. Mixing can be facilitated by using a Jiffy mixer and a 600 rpm drill. Part "A" straw colored, Part "B" amber color, mixed epoxy straw colored. EPOXY Grout Binder is available in both a 25 minute and 45 minute pot life material. Pot life rated at 77°F. Cure time 24 hours at 77°F. Thin films will take longer to cure. Bring Epoxy Grout Binder to 75°F to facilitate mixing and prevent shock on cold surfaces. Do not apply to surfaces under 40°F. Do not thin Epoxy Grout Binder as solvents will prevent proper cure. Also available in grey or beige.
As per volume requirements, as a non skid coating, base coat 100-120 square feet per gallon, binder coat 150 square feet per gallon.
By volume 1:4 Epoxy Grout Binder to aggregate.
By weight 1:5 Epoxy Grout Binder to aggregate.
Always use dry aggregates, moisture will cause air pockets.
Plain, no aggregates 13,000 PSI compression. With aggregates 9500 PSI compression.
1 year minimum in unopened containers.
Use barrier creams and disposable rubber gloves. Wash with soap and water. Do not wash hands with solvents. Epoxies contain chemical compounds that may cause allergic skin and respiratory reaction. Harmful if swallowed. Do not get in eyes or on skin. Use only with adequate Ventilation. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Wash before epoxy has set with acetone, MEK, Xylene, or toluene, these are all flammable materials. After scraping off excess material, use rags and solvent to finish cleanup. See above handling precautions.
