PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

A premixed, dry-shake colored concrete hardener used for coloring and hardening freshly placed concrete flatwork to produce an aesthetic pavement with a surface that is substantially harder than regular concrete. Extensive quality control measures insure uniformity of color and finished product, and virtually eliminate color drifts.

The Color Hardeners are available in 25 standard colors. Custom colors are available upon request.

Also available is Q.C. Construction Products Heavy Duty Color Hardener. Heavy Duty Color Hardener is manufactured with additional ingredients, including natural aluminum oxide, and is used on high traffic and/or heavy utility industrial and commercial concrete flatwork, to provide enhanced wear and slip resistance. Q.C. Construction Products Heavy Duty Color Hardener is available in the same 25 standard colors. Custom colors are available on request.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Q.C. Construction Products Color Hardener is hand broadcast evenly to the surface of freshly placed concrete when the concrete reaches the point where no excess moisture is on the surface. The moisture for wetting the Color Hardener must come from the concrete substrate. The Color Hardener is usually applied in two shakes, with two-thirds being applied in the first shake, and one-third in the second shake. After the first shake, the surface is floated and the Color Hardener is worked into the concrete surface. After the second shake, the Color Hardener is floated and troweled. On average, one 60 pound bag of Q.C. Construction Products Color Hardener will cover 100 sq. Feet ( 30 kg. Per 10 sq. Meters ), see coverage guidelines for exceptions.

LIMITATIONS:

May be used on vertical face of step risers, curbs etc., but not practical for use on large areas of vertical surfaces. Do not use with concrete mixes containing more than 5% of calcium chloride.

WARNINGS:

Contains Portland Cement and free silica. Do not take internally. Keep out of reach of children.
