This is an epoxy brush-on skidproof coating that provides low cost insurance against accidents in areas such as ramps, loading docks, stairways, parking decks and balconies. A textured coating, it transforms all interior and exterior hazardous traffic areas, whether masonry, metal or wood, into safe skidproof areas, even under oily and/or wet conditions.

PG-1013 is also used to coat walls and floors to cover over areas that have been repaired and also protect undamaged areas. In concrete gray color, it gives the appearance of a monolithic slab of concrete.

Technical Data

Surface Preparation

Surface should be clean, free of all coatings and sealants, sound and dry.

Cleaning: Conventional methods normally used. (Acid etching or mechanical scarification.

Product Mixing

1. Stir each component separately
2. Blend equal volumes of base and reactor.
3. Mix until uniform streak-free color is in evidence.

Application

On flat horizontal surfaces, mixture can be applied by brush, roller or trowel. Soft bristled brushes are best for vertical or overhead applications. Apply uniformly Avoid skips and holidays. Minimize reworking.
