EZ Tard Form Grade

Uses:

Can be used to produce exposed aggregate finishes on any type of formed concrete such as walls, steps, tiltup panels or any other type of poured in place concrete.

Technical data:

EZ Tard form grade retarder is a paint like consistency product. It should be applied over sealed forms or concrete. Apply at the rate of 100 square feet per gallon over forms and at 200 square feet per gallon two coats over concrete. Allow to dry between coats and before pouring concrete. EZ Tard concrete retarder may be used in conjunction with admixtures. For best results remove the retarded matrix within 24-48 hours after removing forms or lifting tiltup panels. Sand blast for best results. To highlight the exposed aggregate finish seal with Clear Acryl Seal or Polythane Glaze.

Coverage:

200 square feet per gallon per coat.

Application:

By airless sprayer, roller, or brush.

Shelf life:

1 year minimum in unopened containers

Precautions:

Protect from rainfall, should the retarder coating get wet, recoat. Protect from scouring the retarder coating off the forms. Use an elephant trunk where possible for poured in place concrete. Use plywood to protect the retarder coat when placing concrete in tiltup panel forms. Stir product thorougly before using.
