EZ Tard Surface Grade

Uses:

Can be used to produce exposed aggregate finishes on any type of horizontal concrete such as patios, sidewalks, tiltup panels, and bond joints for poured in place concrete.

Technical data:

Apply after placing aggregate and/or floating concrete. Do not close the concrete surface with the floating operation. Use wood floats if possible. The retarder will not properly penetrate a tight surface. Apply after the surface water has started to recede into the concrete. The reaction time of EZ Tard is between 3 to 24 hours depending on temperature. Test for readiness to wash by scratching the concrete surface with a sharp object such as a nail. The concrete is ready to wash when the base below the retarder is set. General rules to wash concrete treated with EZ Tard Concrete retarder are as follows. High temperatures, 3 to 5 hours. Medium temperatures, place concrete in the morning wash in the afternoon. Low temperatures, concrete may be washed the next morning. To cure and seal exposed aggregate use Clear Acryl Seal. For a high gloss finish use polythane Glaze after the exposed aggregate concrete has cured for 14 days or longer.

Application:

By hand sprayer.

150 square feet per gallon.
